Safety Matters Corp is committed to providing high-quality safety training while ensuring compliance with OSHA, NYC Department of Buildings (DOB), Site Safety Training (SST), and other applicable training requirements. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes, actively participate, and comply with all course requirements.
Scheduled breaks will be provided by the instructor.
Students are expected to return promptly from breaks. Time missed during breaks may be deducted from attendance time and could affect course completion if regulatory attendance requirements are not met.
Students who leave class efore the scheduled end time without instructor approval will not receive credit for the course and may be required to repeat the training.
Students are expected to:
Students must present valid photo identification at the time of check-in when required by the course or applicable regulations.
Cell phones and other electronic devices must be silenced during instruction.
Phone calls, texting, social media, or other non-course-related activities are prohibited during class except during scheduled breaks or with instructor approval.
Students are expected to maintain a respectful learning environment.
The following behavior may result in removal from class:
Students removed from class for misconduct may forfeit tuition and may not receive course credit.
Students must successfully complete all required written and/or practical examinations to receive course completion documentation when applicable.
Any form of cheating will result in immediate dismissal from the course and may result in permanent suspension from Safety Matters Corp training programs.
Certificates, completion documents, and training cards will be issued only after:
Replacement certificates or cards may be subject to an administrative fee.
Students who are unable to attend should notify Safety Matters Corp as soon as possible.
Rescheduling requests are subject to class availability and company policy. Failure to attend a scheduled class without notice may result in forfeiture of tuition or additional rescheduling fees.
Safety Matters Corp reserves the right to postpone or reschedule classes due to severe weather, emergencies, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. Students will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
By registering for a course, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with the Safety Matters Corp Student Attendance & Course Policy.
